My Dearest Nick,
One of the proudest moments in my life was the day you were born. You were my life, my everything. I was finally able to use the words "my boy" for real. There is no greater feeling for a man and you, son, were every ounce the answer to my dreams for a son. Until you reached your teenage years there wasn't anything I did that didn't include you.
During those teenage years you & I drifted apart due to my personal issues with self-esteem and for that I am forever sorry. My life was forever changed because of you and you'll remain in my thoughts every moment of every day for the rest of my life.

You have made a lasting impression in all of our hearts! I admire you more than you will ever know. Throughout everything you remained filled with fight and maintained a positive attitude! I had some wonderful talks with you these past few months...words that I will never forget. Thank you for always being a big brother to me. Thank you for touching my brother's life and leaving a friendship that he will always adore! Thank you for the laughs. Thank you for being you! Love you more than you will ever know!
ps. Don't worry about Carole! She has more kids now then she knows how to handle! =) All of us plan to help her with anything she needs. She was so blessed to have a son like you!
